Tess...a Photographer in the Making

I have always loved photographs taken by Tess. There is an immediacy about her work, an honesty, that I love. Through the camera lens, she sees what is very simple yet very complex, each experienced in the same instant. I think she is amazing.

These are a few photos she took this evening. I love them all, but I especially love the photo of the birdhouse which hangs in our maple tree. It is one Mollie made for a 4-H Fair project several years ago. She earned Woodworking's Best in Show for her efforts. It's simple lines are beautiful...as is she.
