David the Gnome....An Old Favorite......

Melissa's recent post on her favorite childhood TV shows, naturally lead to a quick search on YouTube for one of Christopher's favorite shows, David the Gnome.

Playing the opening song this morning brought back lots of wonderful memories of sitting with my little guy, watching the adventures of David and his wife Lisa, and singing the happy theme song together.

Enjoy.....and feel free to sing along......

I Love Vintage F. W. Woolworth's....

Woolworths
I have always loved Woolworth's stores. There was, and is, something comforting about their products, especially their Christmas items, which long ago won my heart.

I have collected some of their Christmas treasures over the years...Christmas corsages at estate sales....

But....sigh....the collections below put my meager holdings to shame.

Fabulous stuff. My Woolworth's quest continues.....
